A Simple Way to Beef up your PageRank

Google is obviously, one of, if not THE biggest and most widely used search engine on the internet. What makes Google's search engine so amazing is their "top-secret" searching algorithm which of course searches through content on pages. Yes, pages, not SITES. Many newcomers to Search Engine Optimization (or SEO for short) seem to think that search engines, or Google in particular search your entire site and determine key words and page ranking, this of course is not true.

Many of those "Making Money Online" packages you see for sale around the internet in the form of e-Books or other various media are basically common information you can find anywhere, but these SEO Companies WANT you to think that getting a high rank on Google's index is virtually impossible and that you can't do it without their help. This of course is total bull.

Some important information to remember about Google:

* One page of your site COULD rank higher than another, even for the same search. * Ratings are given to things like visible keywords, placement of the keywords, and how many times you've used such a keyword. * It also determines and rates link quality, quantity, relevancy, anchor text, and PageRank. * PageRank is often influenced by off-site objects, but can also be influenced by on-site objects.

How does Google find keywords to match the content?

* Google will read your written articles and content directly.

* Google will also examine your links pointing to your pages.

Are there any easy ways to get on top?

Yes, but only if you would like to have your site permanently removed from Google. You can do this by doing what most untrustworthy sites do. You can repeat your keywords hundreds of times in an extremely small unreadable font. You can also have them at the bottom of your page repeated limitlessly.

What should I do instead of that to still get on top?

Quite simple really, you have multiple options, all of which are 100% doable from anyone's standpoint.

1. First, add the keywords to your blog posts, and add them in your post titles. Google will examine the titles and link them directly with the content, boosting your rank. 2. Second, you can add the keywords to the actual URL of your blog posts. If you use blogger, it will do this automatically, so if you follow step 1, this part is automated for you and will further boost your Google rank. 3. If you are paying for a domain name or plan on getting one, make sure you have a keyword or keywords in it. This will link the domain name to the content, which in turn creates a better flow of unity throughout your site, translation: Google likey. 4. Use the Heading 1 and Heading 2 tag on your keywords, this will draw attention to your keywords and further improve your rank. 5. Make your keywords bold! Be sure not to overdo it since it will be ugly and lose effectiveness if you bold 20-30 keywords. 6. Repeat your keywords throughout your posts. Again like with number 5, don't go ballistic, you might get the ban hammer from Google like with the sneakier methods mentioned above. 7. Use links to other high ranking sites that use your keyword(s) frequently. Although it seems like this would be digging your own grave, considering you might be boosting someone else's rank, it isn't as counter productive as you might think. This method can help you rank well for having relevant links with your keyword(s).

How else can I increase my Google rank and PageRank? Quite frankly, the age of your site will give you an advantage if it is older. If you have a new site, don't be deterred, because even though the older sites have the high ground in this area, you can still compete and overpower them in other areas that are not determined by site age, like the areas mentioned above.

What else can be done other than the steps above? To finish it up, simply add more content! Always keep your site up to date with new, fresh content. Be sure to build your PageRank by getting links and linking to your own articles as long as they hold relevancy to your current article's topic. Keep working at it! Once your site has been around for a while, your name will be established and your content will already be assumed great, but don't let your fans down. Keep up on your content like mentioned before along with these other final steps and you should be on your way to excellent search engine optimization, specifically for Google, and also have excellent PageRank to boost your Google rank.
