7 Key Steps To Search Engine Traffic

Search engine traffic is the way you are going to get the most clicks on your website. People search for your business or organization using search terms, not for your business specifically unless someone has told them about you. So make sure your website is positioned for the best targeted search engine traffic to increase your rankings. Here are 7 steps to increase your traffic.

Step 1: Your Domain Name
Choose a name that contains your keywords if at all possible, or that says as much about you in as short a space as possible.

Step 2: Content
Make sure your content contains good keywords, and only one keyword or key phrase per page. More than that will dilute the power of your keywords.

Step 3: Titles
The titles of your content sections of your website should contain your keyword phrases. This will increase your targeted search engine traffic by repeating the keyword close to the top of the page.

Step 4: Keep Your Site Simple
Your targeted search engine traffic will be un-targeted as soon as you start using language or phrases that don’t pertain to the subject, or that don’t fit stylistically.

Step 5: Keep Current
Another thing that makes people click off a website is irrelevant or out of date information. Stay fresh and keep your rankings high.

Step 6: Keep Your Clicks
make your website friendly enough to keep the people you attract when you rank high in a targeted search. Simple layouts and clean visuals go a long way.
